Blueberry Greek Yogurt Bites (Printable)

Frozen creamy yogurt bites with fresh blueberries and honey for a nutritious snack.

# Ingredient List:

→ Yogurt Mixture

01 - 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (preferably whole milk for creaminess)
02 - 2 tablespoons honey or pure maple syrup
03 - 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ Fruit

04 - 1 cup fresh blueberries, washed and patted dry

→ Optional Garnish

05 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped nuts (such as almonds or pistachios)
06 - 1 tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut

# How to Make:

01 - Line a baking sheet or large plate with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking during freezing.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Whisk until completely smooth and well incorporated.
03 - Using a spoon, drop rounded mounds (approximately 1 tablespoon each) of the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving slight space between each portion.
04 - Gently press 2–3 blueberries into the center of each yogurt mound, ensuring they are partially submerged.
05 - If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts or shredded coconut evenly over the top of each bite for added texture and flavor.
06 - Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the bites are completely solid and firm to the touch.
07 - Once fully frozen, remove the bites from the baking sheet and transfer to an airtight container. Store in the freezer until ready to serve.

# Helpful Tips:

01 -
  • They hit that perfect sweet spot between healthy treat and actual dessert, without any of the guilt or weird aftertaste of artificial sweeteners
  • The texture transformation is kind of magical, going from creamy frozen goodness to almost like ice cream as they soften slightly on your tongue
02 -
  • The first time I made these, I didn't space them far enough apart and ended up with this frozen yogurt sheet that I had to break apart with a knife
  • Letting them sit for just 2 to 3 minutes before eating is absolutely crucial for that perfect almost soft serve consistency
03 -
  • Silicone molds create these perfectly uniform rounds that look incredibly professional, but the freeform method has this rustic homemade charm that I honestly prefer
  • If your honey has crystallized, warm it slightly in the microwave before mixing it in so it incorporates smoothly into the yogurt
