Bunny Oreo Balls (Printable)

Chocolate-coated Oreo truffles shaped into adorable bunny figures. Ideal for spring celebrations and Easter gatherings.

# Ingredient List:

→ Oreo Mixture

01 - 36 Oreo cookies (regular, not Double Stuf)
02 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened

→ Coating & Decoration

03 - 14 oz white chocolate or white candy melts
04 - Pink candy melts or pink food coloring for ears and nose
05 - Mini marshmallows for tails and ears
06 - Edible black food marker or black decorating gel for eyes
07 - Sprinkles or colored sugar, optional

# How to Make:

01 - Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
02 - Add softened cream cheese and blend until fully combined and a dough forms.
03 - Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture and roll into a ball. Shape each ball gently into a slightly oval bunny head shape.
04 - Cut mini marshmallows in half for tails and into slivers for ears. Set aside.
05 - Place shaped balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.
06 - Melt white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
07 - Dip each Oreo ball in melted chocolate, coating completely. Let excess drip off and return to parchment-lined sheet.
08 - While coating is still wet, attach two mini marshmallow slivers for ears and one half-marshmallow for the tail.
09 - Let chocolate set for 5 to 10 minutes until firm.
10 - Using a toothpick dipped in pink candy melts or food coloring, add a nose and fill the insides of the ears. Draw eyes with edible food marker or black decorating gel.
11 - Chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

# Helpful Tips:

01 -
  • They are ridiculously cute and somehow taste even better than they look
  • Kids can help with almost every step, making memories along the way
02 -
  • Freezing the shaped balls for at least 30 minutes is non-negotiable or they will fall apart in the warm chocolate
  • Work quickly once you start dipping, because the chocolate sets fast and marshmallows will not stick to dried coating
03 -
  • Keep a bowl of warm water nearby to dip your spoon in, it helps release any marshmallows that get stuck
  • If the ears slide off, dab a tiny bit of melted chocolate on the back with a toothpick and reattach
